A.I.S.C is proud to award Life Memberships to the individuals listed below. We are extremely grateful for the services and contributions which both our active and inactive Life Members have dedicated to the club. Without their efforts, our club would not be in the position it is in today. 

Active Life Members

Rama Pancha: Rama was a part of the A.C.A. Senior Management in 1960, as well as being Club Treasurer and Vice President. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1986.

Arvin Kesry: Arvin was an Executive Committee member from 1970 to 1980, providing club catering assistance. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1992.  

Chandu Daji: Chandu was an Executive Committee member from 1970 to 1996; Vice President from 1983 to 1988 and provided great fundraising assistance. He was awarded a Life Membership in 2013.

Jayanti Keshaw: Jayanti was President from 1979 to 1982, and also 1987 to 1989 and 2009 to 2011. He was an Executive Committee member from 1972 to 1990 and 2009 to 2014. Jayanti was awarded a Life Membership in 2004.

Vinod B. Patel: Vinod was Club President from 1995 - 1997 and Chairman through to 2003; a major asset to club management. He was awarded a Life Membership in 2008.

Nuggin Lala: Nuggin was president from 1983 to 1986 and also in 1990. He was an Executive Committee member from 1972 to 2009. Nuggin was awarded a Life Membership in 2004. 

Kanu C. Patel: A loyal senior cricket and hockey player who managed the club room facility and club assets. Kanu was awarded a Life Membership in 2008.

Inactive Life Members

Chibba Lala: The Club’s first President – 1936. Chibba possessed a great vision for starting our club. 

Daya Nana: Grandad of Chan Chibba; a very loyal supporter and assistant to club matters. Daya was awarded a Life Membership at the Silver Jubilee in 1961.

Morari Soma: Club President from 1953 to 1963. Morari was a Gujarati language teacher at the old Gandhi hall and helped form the beginning of N.Z.I.S.A.

Chotu Sima: Chotu was Club President from 1964 to 1972 and always took part in hockey umpiring. He was awarded Life Membership in 1961.

Khusal Madhu: Khusal was a founding member and first Secretary of the Club from 1936 to 1939. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1986 at the Golden Jubilee. 

Lala Kika: Lala served with club catering needs and hockey umpiring. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1986.

Daji Soma: Daji was Secretary from 1964 to 1972. He was a skilful hockey and cricket player, a great asset to the club. Daji kept the club’s records in Gujarati. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1986. 

Jiwan Parbhoo: Jiwan coached Junior grades and was an Executive Committee member. He assisted in fundraising from 1970 to 1996. Jiwan was awarded a Life Membership in 1986. 

Bhana Fakir: Bhana held Club meetings at Bhana Bros. shop in Ponsonby, pre-Gandhi hall era. A very loyal and staunch club admin and selector officer. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1961.

Parbhu Kanji: Parbhu was an Executive member, Treasurer, Vice President and A.C.A. Senior Management from 1964 to 1980. He was awarded a Life Membership in 1986.
